I'm Shima Hosseininasab, a Ph.D. candidate in public history at North Carolina State University.
My background is in architecture, with a focus on monuments, architecture, and community engagement in shaping historical meaning through preservation and reuse. My educational background and work experience have prepared me to work effectively in libraries, museums, and other institutions where active engagement with history and people is essential.
I am passionate about facilitating access to historical materials and historic sites, addressing the diverse needs of students, scholars, and the public. I am committed to making historical knowledge accessible and engaging to all. I am eager to continue contributing to projects that enhance access to historical resources and ensure that diverse perspectives are represented and preserved.
